Due to its dark hue and high saturation, the Northern Sky Turquoise gradient on Beosound 2 have been anodized by hand, says Director of Bang & Olufsen Atelier Christian Bauers.
"One by one, each Beosound 2 is carefully anodised following a delicate method, where the aluminium piece is slowly dipped upside down into the turquoise colour bath. The speed at which the operator dips the piece gradually increases to the beat of a metronome as it gets immersed deeper in the colour bath, ensuring a high saturation at the top and a subtle finish at the bottom".
Production will be limited to 100 Beoplay EX earphones and 48 Beosound 2 home speakers.

Beosound 2 3rd Gen Atelier Northern Sky Turquoise (5,299 EUR) and Beoplay EX Atelier Northern Sky Turquoise (699 EUR) will be available online and in selected stores in EMEA from 25th March 2024.
